In the contemporary society that we live in, owning a mobile phone is now a way of life. It’s mandatory and key to our day to day operations that the simple admission that an adult doesn’t own a mobile phone is usually greeted with frowns and disbeliefs. I mean, it’s the 21st century and owning a mobile phone is no longer a privilege but a right. You simply need to look at statistics to fully appreciate the importance of mobile phones. In the UK alone, over 90% οφ τηε households own a mobile phone and this explains how important mobile phones are in our daily lives.
When mobile phone contracts became a reality in the UK, most people were quick to avail one. However, it soon became clear that if you had a poor credit score, getting approved for a phone contract was an exercise in futility. This is exactly where the rain started beating those with a poor credit score. The process of applying for a phone contract became an involving one and one that sapped the energy of those with a low credit score. UK individuals with a poor credit score had to contend with disappointments stemming from incessant rejections every time they applied for a phone contract.
It was a pretty difficult time until no credit check mobile phones were unveiled. All of a sudden, those with a poor credit score had a life line. They no longer had to contend with outright rejections, being discriminated upon based on the status of their credit score and could avail a phone contract within 24 to 48 hours.
What are no credit check mobile phones?
As the name suggests, no credit check mobile phones are mobile phone contracts where credit scores are not a deciding factor as to whether a person is approved or not. With this kind of contract, providers do not take into consideration the status of your credit score or whether you have a history of arrears or defaults. You can apply and get approved irrespective of how bad or poor your credit rating is.
Features of no credit check mobile phones
The most outstanding feature about no credit check mobile phones has to do with the fact that there are no credit checks. This is positive and something that has put a smile on the faces of most individuals with a poor credit rating. Secondly, there are diverse deals and this means you can choose a deal within your budget that you are comfortable with. The contract length for no credit check mobile phones is also slightly longer than for standard mobile phones. Ordinarily, providers insist that you be locked for a period not less than 18 months. This could be disadvantageous especially if you wish to switch to another provider in the middle of your contract.
There is also the option to apply for refurbished or brand new mobile phones as you will notice when you visit http://www.phonesworld.co.uk.
Who is suitable to apply for no credit check mobile phones?
The fallacious belief is that no credit check mobile phones are only suitable for those with a poor credit rating or a history of defaults. However, this is far from the truth. No credit check mobile phones are virtually open to everyone and especially those with no prior credit history. Those with no credit history are just as disadvantaged when it comes to applying for a phone contract. Providers have no way of telling how responsible they are and therefore more often than not reject their applications. However, no credit check mobile phones offer those with no prior credit history a perfect opportunity to build their credit report from scratch!
If you are a geek and like tweaking your android smartphone to satisfy your needs, you are likely to have bricked your phone in the process. This can be very costly as you can end up losing your device. The bricks can either be soft or hard. To restore your phone to its original state after a hard brick follow the steps listed below.
The latest version of SP Flashtools (5.1528)
VCOM drivers (Available for Windows and Linux)
Stock ROM specific to your phone
First, install the VCOM drivers in Windows 7 and XP. Take these steps:
Open the device manager in your PC and select anything from the menu
Click on Actions
Select Add legacy hardware
Press Next and Click on Install Hardware manually
Click Next and select Have Disk
Select the VCOM drivers suitable for your operating system
Click on Finish
To install VCOM drivers in Windows 8.1 and 10, you need to temporarily disable the driver signature verification enforcement. To do so follow the following steps:
Click on the Start button on your PC and go to Settings
Click on the Update & Security button
Click on the Advanced Startup and select Restart Now
Click on Troubleshoot and select the Advanced Options
Click on the Startup Settings and press Restart- the computer restarts with the startup settings window
To disable, press the f7 button on your keyboard
To install the drivers, follow the steps as those of Windows 7 and XP
When you have installed these drivers, you are set to go with the unbricking of your phone. Make sure you have extracted the Stock ROM to the desktop in order to make it easier while locating it.

If you are faced with a soft brick, it is much simpler to restore your phone back to the default state. You don’t need to use a PC. Follow these steps:
Press the power and the volume up button simultaneously till your device goes into recovery
Using the volume down button, go to factory reset
Press the power button to select the option above

After it is done erasing, select reboot and your phone will be as good as new.

This is the latest Samsung phone in the market at the moment having been released on February 2016. It is the best Android mobile phone at the moment. It is a hybrid of the Samsung Galaxy S6. It is available in the UK for only €529 and it is SIM-free. It has the following features:

The corners of the device are well rounded and it has an aluminum frame and there is less metal against your hand and thus a firm grip on the device. From its shape, size and design, it can easily be operated with one hand without straining. The power button is on the right while the volume buttons are on the left. The finger print scanner is incorporated into the home button.
The phone is worth buying as it has the best features as compared to its competitors (Huawei P9, HTC 10, LG G5 and others). However, there are cons of this device, the back needs to be wiped regularly after use as it becomes grubby. The speaker is also facing downwards and it is easily blocked by your hand while gaming. It is also distorted at high volumes which is not what you expect of such a powerful device. The home button is accurate and fast in terms of speed but not as that of Nexus 6P’s. It is thicker as compared to S6 and that there is a glass at the back too which could easily be damaged if dropped. The AMOLED screens produce oversaturated colors. When the screen is off, the AMOLED displays time and date, which is pretty cool but the problem is that, it is only limited to show Samsung’s Messages, Email and Phone notifications leaving the rest out.
Enough said, this is a nice phone and I suggest you grab one as soon as possible.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been speculations that the Apple Company is going to release the long awaited iPhone 7. The company has been known for remarkable products. It releases a new product almost yearly and as expected, iPhone 7 might be its latest device to be released into the market.
The device has not been officially announced yet it’s already trending. The mobile phone is going to sell if it is unleashed into the market now. There have been several images of the prototype doing rounds in the internet. This iPhone will be available in two versions: iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus as it has always been the tradition of the company as seen in the naming of its current devices.
iPhone 7 is said to have the following features:
A dual camera which is 12MP and protruding unlike that in the iPhone 6. The secondary camera being 5MP. The rear camera supports laser auto focus and therefore it works well in low light, it is also fast and can focus on long distances. The images are of high quality and the videos are 4k.
The storage capacity for this phone is as follows; 16GB, 64GB and an amazing 128GB for the different versions. It’s rumored that a 256GB version will be available.
2GB RAM which is very limiting for such a powerful device in my opinion.
The battery is also said to be very large, that is, 7.04 watt hours
It uses the A10 processor manufactured by TSMC.
The thickness is 6.1mm which is way thinner compared to iPhone 6. This has been made possible by the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack which is being replaced with a lightning port that uses wired headphones. The Lightning Port boosts the audio quality too.
It is water resistant.
New noise cancelling technology that reduces the background noise when making phone calls and playing music.
A smart connector.
Has 2 speakers
Wireless charging to enable the user to charge the device when the Lightning Port is being used to play music.
LTE modems from Intel making it faster (450MB/s). The modem is likely to be Intel 7360 LTE
TFT-LCD display, DCI-D3 wide color gamut
2 sensors at the front
Electromagnetic interference (EMI)shielding to prevent wireless interference
Connects to wireless Bluetooth earphones wirelessly.
Colors: Space Gray, Silver, Gold, Pink Gold
Those are some of the features that the device is said to have. It is probably going to be released on September this year. The prices will be as follows €539, €619 and €699 for the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively.
The phone is worth the price as the features are super amazing except for the 2GB RAM. You should add it to your wish list and be the first to buy it.
