Made to Order Upholstery is only available in the U.K
Creatively Made – We love creating special features so that you own an individual and unique piece of furniture that’s as individual and unique as you and your home. We select the most charater-rich parts of the leather hide and off-cuts for each part of your made to order Product and we use the most interesting fabric textures, patterns and colours which give each Product an original distinctive personality.
Certificate of Authenticity – Every piece of furniture we make to order is always a special piece with its own personality. Every ‘Made to Order Upholstery’ Product will arrive with its very own Certificate of Authenticity dated and signed and will be given personal serial number and stamped with the Nomad & Nest ‘Tattoo For Life’ as proof of originality for you to keep safe and cherish.
Placing your Order - When you are happy to place your order all you have to do is call our Sales Team or email Shopkeeper@nomadandnest.co.uk and we will call you back to take all the details of your order.
Deposit - At the point you actually place your order we will require you to pay a 50% payment (your Deposit). We are sorry but this ‘Deposit’ is non-fundable on all ‘Made to Order Upholstery’. We require the balance of your order total to be paid to us 6 working days prior to dispatch.
Payment Methods - We accept Credit Card Payments on Made to Order Upholstery. We also accept Cheque Payments where your order will only be accepted and processed once the Cheque received by us shows as cleared funds in our Bank Account. This will be dependent on the individual Banks processing procedures and time and therefore delays may occur outside of our control.
Delivery – We take the view that as soon as your ‘Made to Order Upholstery’ is made it should be delivered door to door and fresh to you.
6 to 8 weeks delivery – We also believe that you shouldn’t have to wait to long for your “Made to Order Upholstery’ to arrive so our delivery lead time is 6 to 8 weeks subject to the availability of materials. We know our delivery times are short and that’s the way it should be, without compromise to quality, design and service.
Delivery Monday to Friday - We deliver Monday to Fridays only at a pre-arranged date and time slot. We are not able to deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or any U.K Public holidays.
We’ll give you an approximate delivery date at the point you place your order and when it’s in production we will contact you to arrange a delivery date with you before we despatch.
‘Goes Green’ Courier Service - As part of Nomad & Nests environmental commitment we offer our ‘Goes Green’ eco courier service on selected Products. This is our dedicated, packaging-free, lower impact door to door delivery service. For further information please contact shopkeeper@nomadandnest.co.uk typing ‘Goes Green’ in the Subject header.
Delivery Charges - These Products require a specialised delivery service and the delivery charges are dependant on geographical areas. Our Sales Team will provide you with a quote prior to you placing your order.
Returns & Refunds - Unfortunately we can not offer refunds or returns on made to order upholstery. Products that are specifically made to order can not be returned or refunded unless they are defective or have been damaged in transit or the product is proved after a technical inspection to be faulty and non-repairable. Any item that is defective for any other reason such as accidental damage, abuse or misuse is non returnable.
Cancelling your Order- Unfortunately, due to the bespoke nature of our ‘Made to Order Upholstery’ Products we are unable to refund ‘Deposits’ relating to any cancelled ‘Made to Order’ orders once we have received your signed and dated Order Confirmation form.
Exchanges - unfortunalety We are not able to exchange a ‘made to Order Upholstery’ Product once you have received your Product unless it is deemed a faulty Product. Please refer to full details in our ‘Made to Order Upholstery’ Returns section in our Terms & Conditions.
Access & Obstacles - Before placing your order please check dimensions of all access routes including gardens, doorways, corridors, lifts, ceiling heights and fixed obstacles any awkward turning points. Please allow plenty of room to ensure your furniture will easily fit. Please remove any free-standing obstables, fittings and anything that could obstruct the delivery and access. Please Double check all access routes for furniture items as we are unable to return or refund made to order items if they do not fit.
Swatch Service - We offer a free swatch service to help you decide on the right colour of leather.
